CAMP FACILITIES: The camp location is a beautiful 27-acre campus with grassy playing fields, a running track, 2 indoor lounges, an art bunk, and an air conditioned dining hall. Camp Gan Israel has an on-site outdoor swimming pool, monitored by trained and licensed aquatics professionals.

CAMP FACILITIES: Large Modern Equestrian Facility on the Econ River next to the new 275 acre Econ Sandhill state preserve. We have secure parking, 24 Hour Digital monitored surveillance cameras, and Huge Air Conditioned Bunkhouse for Kids to Play and Cool off in 25' Pool and Deck, Bounce Houes Water Slides and constant interaction with the Horses, Lambs, Mini Goats, Bunnies, Chickens, Mini Horses, etc.

CAMP FACILITIES: We are on a 13 acre marina. With access to boats and other toys. There is a restaurant with an outdoor pool on the property, a secluded cove and plenty of places to fish and play.

CAMP FACILITIES: Sunset Lakes has three lakes with slalom courses and jumps, with a variety of choices for housing, either bunk style with main dorm with four campers to a room with private bath or 8 campers to a cabin with bath. All cabin heated and air conditioned. Main dorm has a full recreational area with TV/ games and air hockey. Full internet service in entire camp including study area and dinning hall. Gazebo and docks on each lake with hot tubs for cold weather or sore muscles. Full pro shop with demo gear and new gear to purchase. Beach volley ball, basketball, ping pong, slack line fire pit for roasting marshmallows. For families and adults who wish to join the fun suites, 1-2-3 bedroom villas are available. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Sunset Lakes offers one to nine week sessions with programming that no other camps offer, waterskiing slalom, tricking, jumping as well as wake boarding, wake skating, wake surfing, and paddle boarding. As well as off time activities of beach volley ball, basketball, slack line, ping pong, and air hockey.

In the evening students are taken for bowling, movies, go karting, miniature golf, shopping, and ice cream.

For multiple week campers the weekends are planned for one of the parks ( Disney, Universal, Sea World, Wet and Wild, tubing down a Florida river or spring, wake surfing on local large lake, trip to a Florida beach.

Our philosophy is to treat every camper as if they are the only one at camp. Every session is with a personal coach. All of our coaches have been hand picked out of our own seasoned campers . Each coach carries a coaching certificate has been trained in emergency programs, CPR and first aide. All of our staff strive to be great mentors in the cabins and on the water.

Our program is managed by Jack and Christopher Travers both level three USA Coaches. both multiple times United States Water Ski Team Coaches as well as U. s. Olympic Water Ski Coaches of the Year. Jonathan and Natallia (Berdnikava) Travers both elite international water skiers and U.S. and Belarus National Waterski Team Members and World Champions and Record holders round out the lake management team.. All four of the above can be found coaching both beginners and elite skiers in our programs.

Lelani Travers a Purdue University graduate and prior school teacher is in charge of all the house keeping booking and kitchen staff and is our first contact person for first aide.

Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

Entering 10th Grade
Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Illahaw’s “Cow-Town” Look. Camp Illahaw sports the theme of “Old Florida”. Our Mess Hall, Bathhouse, Counselor Cabin, and Recreation Room are the beginning of Main Street. Boys and Girls Dorm

Set in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800′s, our dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. Both Jim and Donna are still the current directors, and are integrally involved in every single aspect of the company. Many years ago, we were the first company serving young adults to require that all leaders have a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) medical certification. Travel domestically and/or internationally with a group of high-school and/or middle-school students, monitoring and facilitating community service, language/cultural immersion, and/or wilderness adventure trips

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or in the process of completing a degree. Equivalent experience working with teenagers in related field will be considered if not currently enrolled in school
• Experience Previous program leader experience working with and or teaching young people age ranging in age between 12-19. Knowledge of and experience with group dynamics, teaching or facilitating groups, supervision of meal planning, food preparation and cooking, managing logistics. Ability to teach program specific skills, environmental awareness, and related scientific, cultural, and historical knowledge pertaining to the regions through which you will travel and their relationship to each other.

• Current CPR for the professional rescuer

• For Adventure Programs: Knowledge of three or more wilderness travel methods. Mandatory requirements for adventure trips include: the ability to lead groups of students on backpacking trips of three to eight days, ability to comfortably lead through remote wilderness areas. This includes, but is not limited to, backpacking preparations, backcountry travel, route finding, campsite selection, equipment maintenance, Leave No Trace camping techniques in desert and alpine terrain and proper protocol in dense bear country.

All leaders must possess the ability to make prudent decisions in adverse conditions. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are currently hiring in all areas for the summer of 2022.  Positions include general counselors, Arts & Crafts, Lifeguards, Sports Specialists, Kitchen Staff, Dance, Nature.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills this Summer Break with Living Water Surf School, presented by Quiksilver and professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman. Skeeter and his staff of accomplished instructors will help you enjoy and appreciate the ocean and experience the supreme pleasures of The Sport of Kings. Skeeter has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 12years as a surf instructor. His expertise is strengthened by his friendship with other professional surfers who will make guest appearances at the camp and assist Skeeter and his staff of CPR certified and life guard trained instructors.

Instruction will focus around Ocean Awareness and Surfing Fundamentals. In addition, students will learn firsthand about such topics as waves and tides, marine biology, coastal ecology, and beach profiles. Students may also participate in skimboarding, snorkeling, beach games, and towed tubing or wakesurfing (Wave runners driven by instructors only).

Each week will culminate with a surf contest, complimentary pizza party, and giveaways from Quiksilver,Roxy, and area surf shops.

Remember, the best surfer is the one having the most fun!!!
