CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. Camp activities include camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, hikes, bonfires, dance and therapy with horses and dogs and music. Each child has their own counselor for one on one attention. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Campers are accepted without regard to ethnicity, gender, or disability.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Wewa prides itself on two things...fun and safety. We encourage all campers to leave the cell phones and the video games home, you won't be needing them here at camp. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: "The Premier Soccer Training System" - implements our step by step process of physical technique DEMONSTRATIONS, You then IMITATE these demonstrated skills/techniques in training, we then give you the opportunity to EXECUTE these skills in competition with our continued expert guidance and coaching. "The PSTS" is offered at all our Soccer Camps in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The discipline of ballet challenges the student physically and mentally. It is the foundation for any type of dance and enhances flexibility and control for any athlete. Our school emphasizes the importance of a correct foundation so that students will have the opportunity to develop skills to their maximum potential.

This Summer Dance Program is specially designed with different characteristics: Some classes are for students who need to develop skills, strength, clean up defects or difficulties, and get ready for the serious training they will be experiencing during the next school year. Other classes are meant to be an introduction to ballet, tap, jazz, and flamenco through a very special training method for younger students. Field trips to cultural sites. Final performance by the children showcasing all the disciplines they have learned through the three weeks of the program. Lunch is included in the tuition.

Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

Entering 10th Grade
Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Live Oak is a children's day camp working in a cooperative effort with Florida’s State Park System to provide an environmental experience. We offer a unique opportunity for kids to experience the wonder and joy of curiosity, discovery and new knowledge in regards to nature in general and unique ecosystems in the Ft. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: This teen program features wide variety of activities and fantastic field trips that your teen is sure to love! We offer a multitude of different programs which are flexible with your teens busy summer schedule. The teen summer program is now a weekly program. Register for 3 weeks (regular weeks) or more and receive a Multiweek discount! Discount does not apply to any of the Specialty weeks, including Ocean Quest.

Weekly Options all Summer Long! – Teens can participate in weekly programs all summer long. This program will be a combination of volunteer work within the assigned cabin groups and activities or field trips designed specifically for teens. Teens will be assigned to a camper group (ages 5 – 9) which they will work alongside certified teachers and college students guiding campers through a series of outdoor activities. The time that they work with the groups they earn community service hours for high school. Each Camp Live Oak session and week is centered around a theme, with activities and programs built around that theme. Understanding the local natural environment and developing a respect and stewardship for that environment is vital to our program. The integration of science and art into each week allows for creativity and enthusiasm for learning and doing.

Contents, protocols, and standing orders are reviewed and updated every year by our Medical Director who is an MD.

Since our inception, RLT has been on the cutting edge of technological advances in communication. We began carrying Iridium satellite phones on all of our programs as soon as they were available. Today we continue to carry the latest in emergency communication systems. According to geographic location, programs are equipped with satellite phones, ground-to-air radios, and/or cellular phones providing the possibility of 24-hour access to medical help in case of emergency.

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or in the process of completing a degree. Equivalent experience working with teenagers in related field will be considered if not currently enrolled in school
• Experience Previous program leader experience working with and or teaching young people age ranging in age between 12-19. Knowledge of and experience with group dynamics, teaching or facilitating groups, supervision of meal planning, food preparation and cooking, managing logistics. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills this Summer Break with Living Water Surf School, presented by Quiksilver and professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman. Skeeter and his staff of accomplished instructors will help you enjoy and appreciate the ocean and experience the supreme pleasures of The Sport of Kings. Skeeter has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 12years as a surf instructor. This is the official 2016 Camp Kateri theme, and it's as exciting as it sounds.

The true value of resident camp runs much deep. All camp activities are designed to help the girls develop strong relationships (Friends), build confidence through personal growth (Mad Skills!), while - of course - enjoying the whole camp experience (Fun).

Campers have a lot of great choices at Camp Kateri, including two levels of Counselor-in-Training (CIT) programs and 6 different weekly themes.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Do you love working with kids? Like to be outdoors? If so, then Girl Scouts Camp Kateri offers the BEST JOBS ON THE PLANET!

Located about 45 minutes southeast of Gainesville, we're looking for staff to work with children in fun activities like canoeing, kayaking, crafts, archery, dance, teambuilding, STEM, outdoor skills, etc.

We also need a Lifeguards, Cooks, Kitchen Aides, a Business Manager, and a whole myriad of other groovy roles (we still say groovy, right?). If you like kids, we probably have a spot that's perfect for you.

CAMP FACILITIES: Accommodations may be arranged privately if desired, but most participants use our provided accommodations at The Courtyard by Marriott.

Rooms include mini fridge, microwave, coffee machines, scenic views of the waterways, and in some cases a private balcony. Laundry facilities are available on site, as well as a small fitness studio, pool, and jacuzzi. Access to the white sands of Madeira Beach is just a short walk down the street.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Weight Crafters uses the True Fire Fitness System (developed in-house exclusively for us) to help our participants lose weight, build muscle, gain stamina and endurance, and reduce stress. Our weight loss results are dramatic and more powerful than many other non medical weight loss programs available.

Participants complete a daily regimen of fitness activites, workouts, and sports. They receive three healthy and delicious meals per day, along with snacks and other necessities. Nutritional counseling and guided shopping trips to learn more about healthy food decisions are available.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We provide private, single-occupant rooms - so your spouse or another family member can optionally come along and stay with you in Madeira Beach at no additional cost. Some restrictions apply. We also provide shared lodging arrangements at a discount for couples or friends who participate together in the program.
