Our 1Team Fitness Original Package is for people who want to join the program by themselves or with a friend or two. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Winona provides a great traditional, overnight camping experience. We try to balance tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. Campers are grouped by age and gender and stay in small rustic cabins complete with built in bunk beds and air conditioning. There are up to 12 campers and two staff in each cabin surrounding centrally located bathhouses. Our meals are prepared by our camp chefs and served family style in our air conditioned dining hall. Our well-balanced meals include cereal, salad bar and sandwich options for those campers wishing an alternative/supplement to the meal. We are equipped to accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs.

At the Y, we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. EYCC’s summer programs feature a unique conservation education theme with outdoor adventure activities in the Florida Everglades, as well as time to relax, have fun and make new friends. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season. The leadership camp utilizes high school students to help in the dining hall as well as assist staff to ensure campers have a fun-filled and exciting time at camp. All leadership campers will receive training about the programs we offer, how to interact with children, and the various roles of staff required for a residential camp. 80 Community Service hours are awarded for the two weeks of volunteer service to the camp.

Weekly Options all Summer Long! – Teens can participate in weekly programs all summer long. Teens will be assigned to a camper group (ages 5 – 9) which they will work alongside certified teachers and college students guiding campers through a series of outdoor activities. The time that they work with the groups they earn community service hours for high school. In addition, they will come together with the Teen Eco coordinator and participate in a variety of activities or field trips.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Camp Live Oak allows your child to explore the world around them here in South Florida, enjoying the many aspects of our beautiful environment! Each Camp Live Oak session and week is centered around a theme, with activities and programs built around that theme. Understanding the local natural environment and developing a respect and stewardship for that environment is vital to our program. The integration of science and art into each week allows for creativity and enthusiasm for learning and doing.

Campers enjoy swimming, canoeing, science, kayaking, arts and crafts, sports, surfing, fishing, paddle boarding and archery every week that they are at camp, with different activities rotating on various days. Exciting and educational field trips, guest speakers and specialty programs are scheduled regularly to give your child an extremely well rounded day camp experience!

Remember, you may register for as many, or as few, weeks as you’d like, there is no minimum number of weeks.

We highly recommend children attend for at least two weeks so they are able to have a full camp experience, but we are flexible as we know your summer schedule may be full of fun activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: We use facilities provided by Camp Suwannee. There are 14 cabins all with air conditioning, a large indoor pavilion, swimming pool and several athletic fields. Meals are served family style in a dining hall. Cabin sizes are kept at 7 campers or fewer.

Set in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800′s, our dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. The CIT Program seeks to teach young people about responsibility, authority, and hard work that will prepare them to be counselors and leaders in the future, or to prepare them for college life. CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.

The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!

Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Indian Springs, first established in 1965, is a fun-filled, action packed private summer resident camp for boys and girls ages 7-16. Located on 77 acres, camp is nestled beside the wooded springs of beautiful Wakulla Springs State Park amidst the Apalachicola and Wakulla Forest of North Florida. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our C.I.T. program is one of our most valued Camp Indian Springs program. This program is vital to the success of our camp. This is where we grow the future camp staff and world leaders of tomorrow. Our Counselor In Training program is the first step to become a camp staff member. The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.

C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: HADRACHA
Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

MADRICH
Counselor In Training- CIT
Entering 10th Grade
Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. Please contact Lene Saeger, x271, to schedule an interview. CIT staff requirement: 8 weeks preferred. Consideration will be given to 4-week applicants on an availability basis.

CAMP FACILITIES: We sit on 77 acres of natural preserves on a lake. We have four dorms and a junior Olympic size swimming pool. We have Volleyball Beach, Weight Lifting Room, full-size Gym, State of the Art Student Center with an arcade, billiard table, table tennis, fuse ball,and theater.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For over 50 years, The Vanguard School has been working works with middle and high school students who face challenges in academics or/and social relations. Our students range from specific reading or math difficulties to anxiety in the classroom or during testing.

We also include students who need support developing executive functioning skills such as time management, planning, organizing, or self-advocating. We also help students realize and develop appropriate relationships through boundaries, communications, and engagement in activities such as volunteering, sports, and interest clubs. We have had a fabulous start to our 2019-2020 Vanguard School year, but now we are gearing up for our Summer Program Beyond the Classroom!

The Vanguard School, also, has an exciting summer camp Beyond the Classroom, and it is an outstanding opportunity for our students to experience The Vanguard Family and get to know new students and teachers in a relaxed environment and a much smaller setting.

Our summer camp goes beyond the traditional classroom, addressing not only academic skills but targeting the increasing need for social and emotional learning and life skills training that is at such a deficit in today’s students.

The social-emotional curriculum helps students to attain the skills necessary to manage and interpret emotions, feel and show empathy, exhibit self-control, make responsible decisions, and interact with others in our digitally-influenced world. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Unbeatables is the only Life Skills Training and Multi sports summer program in USA, created especially for children ages 5 to 14. We have a perfect combination between sports and fun activities with education in the 6 most important areas of the children's life: fitness and nutrition, social environment, family life, school success, interest exploration and emotional life. Our campers end their summer well equipped with : 1) effective tools to manage the most common situations that they may confront at their age 2) instruction and practice in the most popular and likable sports and 3) Having had lots of fun doing the most innovative camp activities.

We have an impeccable trajectory of 12 years, and on 2013 we were awarded as the Educational Program of the Year by the Minority Chamber of Commerce of USA.

Our staff members are selected through carefully handled interviews in where we meet with the potential staff member and get to know them as an individual. Our qualifications for members differ depending on the job positions. Supervisors, Counselors, and Volunteers each have their own list of qualifications they must fulfill. In order to be part of our camp, all our staff goes through National recognized certifications, second-degree background checks and a very comprehensive training.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We have the only Life Skills Training in USA especially created for children 5 to 14 years old. We offer leadership and public speaking training to the group of age of 12 to 14 and the volunteers that work at the camp.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): As a part of our Unique Life Skills Training Camp Program, on weekly basis, we send parents information for them to continue reinforcing at home the information we offer to the children at the camp.

We have some open staff positions for the Spring Break and Summer camp at Doral We are looking for camp counselors and volunteers. The requirements are:
* 15 years of age or older for volunteers
* 18 years of age or older for paid staff
* Seriously engaged in a sport for a minimum of 4 years

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills this Summer Break with Living Water Surf School, presented by Quiksilver and professional surfer William “Skeeter” Zimmerman. Skeeter and his staff of accomplished instructors will help you enjoy and appreciate the ocean and experience the supreme pleasures of The Sport of Kings. Skeeter has shared his passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with thousands of students during his 12years as a surf instructor. His expertise is strengthened by his friendship with other professional surfers who will make guest appearances at the camp and assist Skeeter and his staff of CPR certified and life guard trained instructors.

Instruction will focus around Ocean Awareness and Surfing Fundamentals. In addition, students will learn firsthand about such topics as waves and tides, marine biology, coastal ecology, and beach profiles. Students may also participate in skimboarding, snorkeling, beach games, and towed tubing or wakesurfing (Wave runners driven by instructors only).

Each week will culminate with a surf contest, complimentary pizza party, and giveaways from Quiksilver,Roxy, and area surf shops.

Remember, the best surfer is the one having the most fun!!!

CAMP FACILITIES: This camp is held at the Miami Seaquarium which is home to dolphins, turtles, seals, sea lions, sharks, fish, invertebrates, tropical birds, reptiles, penguins and so much more!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Join our S.E.A. Camp crew for a fun-filled week of science, conservation, activities, exploration, and all of the animals at the Miami Seaquarium! Campers will spend their days outside enjoying, the beach and exploring the Biscayne Bay ecosystem. Science experiments, conservation projects and animal observations are all included in this one-of-kind day camp experience. Our S.E.A. camps will conclude with an exciting in-water dolphin encounter and graduation ceremony.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We also offer spring break camps, winter holiday camps, homeschool programs, mommy and me programs, overnight trips, and more year round!
