CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: HADRACHA
Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

MADRICH
Counselor In Training- CIT
Entering 10th Grade
Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. Please contact Lene Saeger, x271, to schedule an interview. CIT staff requirement: 8 weeks preferred. Consideration will be given to 4-week applicants on an availability basis.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our cabins are all climate controlled and modernized. We have a junior Olympic sized pool, three lakes, ropes course and rock wall, acres of play space, multiple archery ranges, our beautiful dining hall and pavilion, art center, and so much more.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Wewa prides itself on two things...fun and safety. We encourage all campers to leave the cell phones and the video games home, you won't be needing them here at camp. Your day will be filled from wake up to lights out with fun activities throughout the day and evening. Our staff are all mature, well trained leaders that are here because they love camp. Each staff member participates in a through background check and staff training process before campers arrive, and many of our staff are in fact returning Wewa alumni. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season. The leadership camp utilizes high school students to help in the dining hall as well as assist staff to ensure campers have a fun-filled and exciting time at camp. OTHER CAMP INFO: The Project Endeavor Experience takes students and faculty from around the globe and works with each participant to hone their skills and talents. Each participant will be assigned a team and each team will work with a team leader to design a project or perform a routine or create a masterpiece that will be shown to members of that given field at a final banquet. The team that is elected by members of that profession will be honored at the event and will be able to meet with the judges. As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: "The Premier Soccer Training System" - implements our step by step process of physical technique DEMONSTRATIONS, You then IMITATE these demonstrated skills/techniques in training, we then give you the opportunity to EXECUTE these skills in competition with our continued expert guidance and coaching. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Looking for individuals, with prior horse experience to work through the summer, at both our farms running summer camps and guiding trail rides.

CAMP FACILITIES: Sunset Lakes has three lakes with slalom courses and jumps, with a variety of choices for housing, either bunk style with main dorm with four campers to a room with private bath or 8 campers to a cabin with bath. All cabin heated and air conditioned. Main dorm has a full recreational area with TV/ games and air hockey. Full internet service in entire camp including study area and dinning hall. Gazebo and docks on each lake with hot tubs for cold weather or sore muscles. Full pro shop with demo gear and new gear to purchase. Beach volley ball, basketball, ping pong, slack line fire pit for roasting marshmallows. For families and adults who wish to join the fun suites, 1-2-3 bedroom villas are available. Full meal service.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Sunset Lakes offers one to nine week sessions with programming that no other camps offer, waterskiing slalom, tricking, jumping as well as wake boarding, wake skating, wake surfing, and paddle boarding. As well as off time activities of beach volley ball, basketball, slack line, ping pong, and air hockey.

In the evening students are taken for bowling, movies, go karting, miniature golf, shopping, and ice cream.

For multiple week campers the weekends are planned for one of the parks ( Disney, Universal, Sea World, Wet and Wild, tubing down a Florida river or spring, wake surfing on local large lake, trip to a Florida beach.

Our philosophy is to treat every camper as if they are the only one at camp. Every session is with a personal coach. All of our coaches have been hand picked out of our own seasoned campers . Each coach carries a coaching certificate has been trained in emergency programs, CPR and first aide. All of our staff strive to be great mentors in the cabins and on the water.

Our program is managed by Jack and Christopher Travers both level three USA Coaches. both multiple times United States Water Ski Team Coaches as well as U. s. Olympic Water Ski Coaches of the Year. Jonathan and Natallia (Berdnikava) Travers both elite international water skiers and U.S. and Belarus National Waterski Team Members and World Champions and Record holders round out the lake management team.. All four of the above can be found coaching both beginners and elite skiers in our programs.

Lelani Travers a Purdue University graduate and prior school teacher is in charge of all the house keeping booking and kitchen staff and is our first contact person for first aide.

This four-story 102,000 square foot facility is designed scenically and theatrically to simulate a modern aircraft carrier.

Designed to allow the parents of campers a chance to
be a part of the activities at Camp Cardinal. A C.P.A members is essentially a parent counselor, assisting with various field trips and activities on a day to day basis.

Requirements
1. Every family is Eligible Parents must sign up within the program’s
set deadlines (C.P.A DOES NOT discriminate against race, creed, and /or religion) This program is strictly based upon a first come – first serve basis. (There are only three C.P.A positions available per session)

2. Must be a biological parent and/or rightful guardian of child.

3. Willing to work with children other than your own.

4. Must be physically active and able to participate in all activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We are own by the St. Augustine Presbytery. We are Presbyterian by nature and we accept all different denominations. We have been around since 1957 and are accredited by American Camp Association (ACA).

For our summer camp, we have a staff of 24 young adults that are all trained in counseling. They are also First Aid and CPR certified. We have a core of lifeguards on staff as well along with Challenge Course Facilitators.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We have a Counselor-In-Training camp. Our campers during their first week at camp will learn how to be a camp counselor at Montgomery Center. They will return a second week in the summer and counsel their own group of kids with our staff.

We also have a 2 week Leaders-In-Training camp, where our campers will go through group initiative and other challenges to help foster community, leadership and responsibility. They also participate as campers in most activities but have class sessions. They become leaders in our camp programs and will take day trips to serve in our communities.

CAMP FACILITIES: We house clients in the condos on the upper floors, and provide counseling / fitness training in our dedicated facilities on the lower floors. There is a salt water pool on site, and we are directly across the street from the Gulf Coast Beach.

Our trainers are certified, the food is delicious, the activities are adventurous and the exercise routines are constantly changing to keep things interesting. CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.

The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!

Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.

C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.

Camp educators are qualified outreach educators for compassionate studies and are committed to teaching participants solutionary skills. All camp educators are CPR and Frist Aid certified.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarships and financial aid will likely be possible for future programs depending on grants and funding for Solutionary Species. FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): On Friday of each session, we welcome parents to come celebrate their child's camp success at our solutionary camp party. Participants will have the opportunity to share what they learn and to feel proud of what they accomplish.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Solutionary Heroes Summer Camp is Williston's most exciting nature camp! Participants will not only learn team building, leadership, social, and solutionary skills, but they will also learn how to save the world through safe and practical activities. This year's summer camp will be one your child will never forget. In fact, participants can take what they learn home with them and continue saving the world each and every day!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Great youth ministry starts with effective adult volunteers investing in the lives of students. That’s why we take time at BigStuf to invest in your adult leaders as they invest in your students. Our Leader Lab sessions are specifically designed to encourage and equip your adult staff and volunteers with practical youth ministry knowledge and resources to strengthen their impact on your students.

We want to take our leaders a bit further as we contemplate what it means to be a real leader. To do this, we set aside one hour each morning during the week for Leader Lab sessions. Each year we ask some incredibly gifted leaders and speakers to come in and give fresh thoughts and different perspectives to your leaders. We are convinced your leaders will leave camp not only encouraged by time with their students, but also refreshed and motivated by their time in Leader Lab.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
The BigStuf Internship is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced! Our mission is to develop college-aged students into confident and capable leaders through providing opportunities for serving, intentional community, and discipleship. Please visit: Our Camp Website Link: bigstuf.com.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 2 dorms, complete with air conditioning and showers, an outdoor pool, a dining hall, outdoor chapel, main lodge for activities and gatherings, a field for sports, and a sand volleyball court. Lake Howell provides a place for canoes and paddleboats.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: San Pedro Catholic Camp is staffed by qualified young men and women who are active in Church ministry and have a deep sense of God in their own lives. All staff members have been screened by the State of Florida, fingerprinted by the Diocese of Orlando, and are well trained for their positions, including certification on working with young people in a safe environment through the American Camp Association.

Overnight and Day Camp participants are offered an opportunity to unplug from distractions and take a step back from everyday life to create important lasting relationships. Our goal is not only to provide a wholesome outdoor life, but to also assist youth in true character and faith formation through the celebration of Mass, daily prayer services, as well as the sacrament of reconciliation.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: All staff participate in a week long training session to prepare them for the upcoming camp sessions. First aid/CPR/AED training is included. Staff will also complete ACA courses online prior to attending camp training.
