CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: HADRACHA
Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

Entering 10th Grade
Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. CAMP FACILITIES: This camp is held at the Miami Seaquarium which is home to dolphins, turtles, seals, sea lions, sharks, fish, invertebrates, tropical birds, reptiles, penguins and so much more!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Join our S.E.A. Camp crew for a fun-filled week of science, conservation, activities, exploration, and all of the animals at the Miami Seaquarium! CAMP PROGRAM INFO: San Pedro Catholic Camp is staffed by qualified young men and women who are active in Church ministry and have a deep sense of God in their own lives. All staff members have been screened by the State of Florida, fingerprinted by the Diocese of Orlando, and are well trained for their positions, including certification on working with young people in a safe environment through the American Camp Association.

Overnight and Day Camp participants are offered an opportunity to unplug from distractions and take a step back from everyday life to create important lasting relationships. Our goal is not only to provide a wholesome outdoor life, but to also assist youth in true character and faith formation through the celebration of Mass, daily prayer services, as well as the sacrament of reconciliation.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp at the J is all about kids having the freedom to learn and grow in an informal and nurturing setting while developing skills that prepare them for future success. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. EYCC’s summer programs feature a unique conservation education theme with outdoor adventure activities in the Florida Everglades, as well as time to relax, have fun and make new friends. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season. The leadership camp utilizes high school students to help in the dining hall as well as assist staff to ensure campers have a fun-filled and exciting time at camp. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Kulaqua's unique program allows camps ages 7 to 17 to come to camp at the same time while providing camper's their own individualized experience.

Each age group is divided into tracks: Cub Camp (ages 7-9), Junior Camp (ages 10-12), & Teen Camp (ages 13-16). We have found that providing a camper with a program that is specifically designed for them, they are happier and more interested.

Camp has designed a program just for their age group, giving them worship songs they will enjoy and skits they’ll love. We want to bring God to your child in a way that they will be able to experience His love and come to know Him in a lasting relationship.

Does your camper dream of horses? Do they neigh in their sleep and post photos of horses all over their room? Then Camp Kulaqua’s Horsemanship camp is the place for them! During this week of camp, your camper will have the opportunity to learn all of the basics of horse care including: grooming, feeding, equipment maintenance, and equine first aid. Your camper will have their ‘own’ horse for the week that they get to groom, ride, and spend their week with.

Your cowboy/cowgirl will learn basic riding technique and skills with their horse and come back full of stories from their trail bag. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. Camp activities include camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, hikes, bonfires, dance and therapy with horses and dogs and music. Each child has their own counselor for one on one attention. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Campers are accepted without regard to ethnicity, gender, or disability.

CAMP FACILITIES: We house clients in the condos on the upper floors, and provide counseling / fitness training in our dedicated facilities on the lower floors. There is a salt water pool on site, and we are directly across the street from the Gulf Coast Beach.

CAMP FACILITIES: State-of-the-art studios, air conditioned, dressing rooms and bathrooms. Sprung floors, Marley covered and professional sound systems. Recreational areas, dressing rooms and plenty of bathrooms.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The discipline of ballet challenges the student physically and mentally. It is the foundation for any type of dance and enhances flexibility and control for any athlete. Our school emphasizes the importance of a correct foundation so that students will have the opportunity to develop skills to their maximum potential.

This Summer Dance Program is specially designed with different characteristics: Some classes are for students who need to develop skills, strength, clean up defects or difficulties, and get ready for the serious training they will be experiencing during the next school year. Other classes are meant to be an introduction to ballet, tap, jazz, and flamenco through a very special training method for younger students. Field trips to cultural sites. Final performance by the children showcasing all the disciplines they have learned through the three weeks of the program. Lunch is included in the tuition.

CAMP FACILITIES: 16 A/C & heated cabins in 2 villages, sandy waterfront hosts swimming and water activities, basketball court, sand volleyball court, games garden, 2 sports fields, 2 paintball fields, low & high ropes courses, archery range, rifle range, open air crafts building, A/C dining hall, open air chapel/amphitheater, large central fire circle, updated health center and a large education/activity building.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Winona provides a great traditional, overnight camping experience. We try to balance tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. Campers are grouped by age and gender and stay in small rustic cabins complete with built in bunk beds and air conditioning. There are up to 12 campers and two staff in each cabin surrounding centrally located bathhouses. Our meals are prepared by our camp chefs and served family style in our air conditioned dining hall. Our well-balanced meals include cereal, salad bar and sandwich options for those campers wishing an alternative/supplement to the meal. We are equipped to accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs.

At the Y, we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Our Resident Camp provides an exciting, safe community for young people to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills, create lasting friendships and make incredible memories. Our goals are to assist campers in learning by providing balanced growth in the following ways: * To develop the responsibility for one's self and others * To nurture self-confidence, good habits and sound moral values * To promote an atmosphere which increases new interests and skills without fear or failure * To develop in one's life a respect for individual differences among all God's people and creations * To encourage good social skills through the experience of community living. * 3Day/2Night Mini Camp (ages 6-8) geared to first time campers.

** Paintball – Campers will learn the basics and be able to participate in our field course and our woods course. Campers will be assigned to paintball for 4 days during the week. ($75)
** High Ropes - We have 5 high elements up to 40 feet above the ground they will be coached to maneuver through. Campers will be assigned to 2 – three hour blocks during the week. ($30)

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: * Two 2-week LIT sessions (ages 15-16).
* One 3-week CIT session (age 17) By approval only with CIT application
* High School Christian Values Camp - rising freshmen thru graduating seniors. Charter bus up to YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly and spend the week with other high school students in way out games and small group learning. Focus is on personal values system.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: YMCA Camp Winona offers year-round possibilities with our Conference and Retreat program. We host churches, youth groups, clubs and organizations, school groups, businesses, family reunions, large picnics, seminars and other events throughout the year.
