CAMP FACILITIES: The camp will be taking place on 100 acres of natural learning opportunities. There are over 50 separate garden displays, several waterfalls, koi ponds, many nature trails, pavilions, and animal friends throughout the gardens.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Solutionary Heroes Summer Camp is designed and directed by Jenna Bardroff, a humane educator with a Master of Arts degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Animal Biology. Camp programs are also facilitated by Dale Bardroff, M.A., an educator who has taught a wide population of special needs students. Camp educators are qualified outreach educators for compassionate studies and are committed to teaching participants solutionary skills. All camp educators are CPR and Frist Aid certified.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarships and financial aid will likely be possible for future programs depending on grants and funding for Solutionary Species. FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): On Friday of each session, we welcome parents to come celebrate their child's camp success at our solutionary camp party. Participants will have the opportunity to share what they learn and to feel proud of what they accomplish.

The first half of the day is structured like a typical school day. We will will focus on the maintenance of skills and concepts they have acquired throughout the school year. Our afternoon activities will be based around each session's theme, giving your child the opportunity to explore fun, new concepts, while focusing on the areas of motor skills, sensory integration, communication, social and functional life skills. CAMP FACILITIES: We rest on 167 acres and 3 lakes. We have 2 lodges and 10 cabins and multiple meeting areas. We also have a dining hall with av/audio equipment built in and ready to use.

We have an open pavilion for recreation and sound system needs.

Our field allows for groups to do many different outdoor events.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We are own by the St. Augustine Presbytery. We are Presbyterian by nature and we accept all different denominations. We have been around since 1957 and are accredited by American Camp Association (ACA).

For our summer camp, we have a staff of 24 young adults that are all trained in counseling. They are also First Aid and CPR certified. We have a core of lifeguards on staff as well along with Challenge Course Facilitators.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We have a Counselor-In-Training camp. Our campers during their first week at camp will learn how to be a camp counselor at Montgomery Center. They will return a second week in the summer and counsel their own group of kids with our staff.

We also have a 2 week Leaders-In-Training camp, where our campers will go through group initiative and other challenges to help foster community, leadership and responsibility. They also participate as campers in most activities but have class sessions. They become leaders in our camp programs and will take day trips to serve in our communities.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We provide a Family Camp session over the 4th of July weekend. Where family can come and enjoy a retreat/vacation camp experience.

Also we have a camp for future campers and their parents. The parents are experiencing a 2 day adventure with their young ones to see if summer camp later that year or next summer is right for their young ones.

We offer 6 week long sessions starting from June 22nd till August 1st. Our programs are ran by age; Explorers, entering 2nd grade and existing 3rd. Discovery, entering 3rd grade and exiting 6th grade. Challenge, entering 7th grade to existing 10th grade. Designed to allow the parents of campers a chance to
be a part of the activities at Camp Cardinal. A C.P.A members is essentially a parent counselor, assisting with various field trips and activities on a day to day basis.

Requirements
1. Every family is Eligible Parents must sign up within the program’s
set deadlines (C.P.A DOES NOT discriminate against race, creed, and /or religion) This program is strictly based upon a first come – first serve basis. (There are only three C.P.A positions available per session)

2. Must be a biological parent and/or rightful guardian of child.

3. Willing to work with children other than your own.

4. Must be physically active and able to participate in all activities.

5. Last but not least, Willing to have fun!

Rules and Regulations
1. A C.P.A member will act as a head counselor to his/her assigned group.

2. A C.P.A member cannot be a head counselor over his/her child’s group.

3. A C.P.A member must Chaperon various field trips and activities

This Summer Dance Program is specially designed with different characteristics: Some classes are for students who need to develop skills, strength, clean up defects or difficulties, and get ready for the serious training they will be experiencing during the next school year. Other classes are meant to be an introduction to ballet, tap, jazz, and flamenco through a very special training method for younger students. Field trips to cultural sites. CAMP FACILITIES: Accommodations may be arranged privately if desired, but most participants use our provided accommodations at The Courtyard by Marriott.

As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Illahaw’s “Cow-Town” Look. Camp Illahaw sports the theme of “Old Florida”. Our Mess Hall, Bathhouse, Counselor Cabin, and Recreation Room are the beginning of Main Street. Boys and Girls Dorm

Set in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800′s, our dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. The CIT Program seeks to teach young people about responsibility, authority, and hard work that will prepare them to be counselors and leaders in the future, or to prepare them for college life. Many camps look for past camp experience or CIT program experience. We prefer our CIT’s be past Camp Illahaw campers but it isn’t required.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.

The Youth Camp was created in the 1960's by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life.

The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Residential summer camp programs are for children completing 3rd – 8th grade.

The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. EYCC’s summer programs feature a unique conservation education theme with outdoor adventure activities in the Florida Everglades, as well as time to relax, have fun and make new friends. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The EYCC provides a volunteer opportunity for high school students to assist with various tasks around the camp during the summer season.
