BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Come experience how you can Seek the Wonders of the World while having a great summer at the ACA accredited Camp Friendship! Camp Friendship - Adventure is located at Friendship Park in Gahanna, and Camp Friendship - Traditional is located at Hannah Park in Gahanna.
Join CPR/First Aid certified staff for eleven weeks jam packed with activities based around the weekly theme, including sports & games, arts & crafts, outdoor education, and all-camp activities. Weekly field trip, weekly pool day, extended care hours, field trip t-shirt, sunscreen, and a snack are all included in the price. This is the best camp value for the money! Early bird rates apply before May 1.

CAMP LOCATION: Camp Friendship - Adventure is based out of Gahanna's Friendship Park, 150 Oklahoma Ave. Camp Friendship - Traditional is based out of Gahanna's Hannah Park, 6547 Clark State Road.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Friendship - Traditional is ACA accredited. Both camp programs are based out of a park shelter maintained by the City of Gahanna. Kids will swim at Gahanna Swimming Pool once a week and have a weekly field trip to various destinations around Central Ohio.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For many children, Camp Friendship is their first exposure to camping. Caring, dedicated staff serve as positive role models and strive to create a summer of learning and active participation for all campers while emphasizing healthy life choices and the importance of community. From morning circle, to all camp activities, pool day, and exciting field trips, Camp Friendship is more than just a day camp – it’s the perfect outlet for kids to be kids while developing the resiliency to successfully navigate the world around them. Not only do we provide the opportunity and support for children to grow and develop as individuals, we create lifelong memories, lasting relationships, and foster a competent and confident citizenry.
Camp Friendship, administered by the City of Gahanna Department of Parks & Recreation, offers 11 weeks of fun for children ages 5-12. With two Camp Friendship locations out of Friendship Park and Hannah Park, our campers go on weekly field trips, swim at the Gahanna Swimming Pool, and participate in sports & games, arts & crafts, and outdoor education programming. With extended care hours, field trip fees, a field trip shirt, and daily snack INCLUDED in the price, this is the best camp value for the money! Our counselors are selected for their training, education, and experience working with children and are dedicated to providing campers with the highest quality experience.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: For youth who are too old for our traditional Camp Friendship programs, we also offer CORE (Creating Opportunities through Recreation Experiences). CORE is a teen camp based on leadership, community service, and outdoor adventures!
New this summer is LEED, our Camp Friendship Counselor-in-Training program!

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Camp Friendship is able to offer some scholarships for Gahanna-Jefferson School District students who receive free or reduced lunch, funded by the Gahanna Parks & Recreation Foundation and GRIN (Gahanna Residents in Need).
