TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Weekdays: 9am-3pm; Early Drop Off (8:30am-9am) & Extended Care (3pm-5pm) Options Available

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Camp Lango will return this summer for the sixth consecutive year to offer our one-of-a-kind immersion programs in Mandarin and Spanish. Children ages 2-8 are invited to join us for three months of exhilarating weekly themes, field trips, games, songs, crafts and so much more.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, close to the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center 2, 3, 4, 5, D, N and R subway stop.
CAMP FACILITIES: Two clean cozy colorful classrooms, stocked with age-appropriate learning toys, and easy access to several local parks.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Lango—our signature summer program—combines all the fun of traditional summertime activities with all the rigor of a Spanish or Mandarin immersion language program. Lead by our talented teaching staff, students learn through a variety of creative exercises (e.g. dance, music, and crafts) and cultural excursions about the Spanish- or Mandarin-speaking world.
The target language is taught through fun and engaging weekly themes. This summer’s weekly themes include Super Heroes, Princes and Princesses, Summer Adventures, A Visit to China and A Visit to Spain. Our specially designed language camp curriculum is guaranteed to boost your child’s new language ability, preparing them for an ever-globalized world all while having crazy amounts of fun!
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: During the academic year, Lango offers immersion preschool programs, after-school and weekend classes, and toddler playgroups in Spanish and Mandarin.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Students will have the opportunity to participate in weekly field trips to local cultural institutions and landmarks. Last year's destinations included: the Metropolitan Museum, the Toy Museum of New York, Prospect Park, the High Line, Chinatown and the New York Chinese Cultural Center.
