Girls spend time in nature, making friendships that will last a lifetime, and learning outdoor skills.
Our in-camp staff:camper ratio is 1:3, while on canoe trips it is 1:1 or 1:2.
We offer 13-day, 3&1/2-week and 7-week sessions, as well as special introductory 1-week sessions for girls ages 7-9.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: There is a 10% discount for siblings.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Northway was founded with the idea that girls should learn how to live simply in the outdoors and that the absence of appliances and luxuries would give campers a wilderness experience which they might draw upon throughout their lives. We try to maintain the idea that in-camp life should be almost as simple as life on a canoe trip. In camp the spirit is much the same as it is out in the wilderness--one of willingness to help others, to befriend every other camper and to appreciate the beauty of nature.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
13-Day, 3.5 week and 7 week sessions available. Limited 1-week sessions for girls 7-9. Please see our website for complete details on dates and rates.
