CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Waterfront/Aquatics, Wilderness/Nature, Sailing, Fine Arts/Crafts, Dance, Music/Band, Theater, Musical Theater, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Swimming, Soccer, Tennis, Weightloss, Basketball, Baseball, Football, Team Sports, and more. Wide Range Of Water Sports, Land Sports & Creative Arts. Some Additional Activities Include Fishing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Archery, High & Low Ropes & Climbing Wall, Roller Hockey, Yoga, Clay/pottery, Outdoor Adventure & A Premier Canoe Tripping Program.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located 2.5 hours north of Toronto in beautiful Algonquin Park Ontario.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have wood style cabins with electricity and washrooms. we have a beautiful dining reflecting 78 years of camp history, outdoor and indoor amphitheatre and a, roller rink, basketball court, large ballfield and the most gorgeous lake that surrounds our camp
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For 78 years Tamakwa has been providing campers (from Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Mexico and all over the world) a chance to develop important life skills, build self confidence, foster lifelong friendships, embrace traditional camping values and return home with an enriched outlook, that there is life and fun without facebook, Wii and YouTube!
Select spaces are available around our campfire for campers 7-15, including our 2 or 4 week Junior Tamakwan program for campers 7-9. Also available - a new 4 day mini introduction session for campers in grades 1 or 2. Please call for further details.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer an 8 week CIT training program for campers that are 16 years old.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Sibling discounts available, please call for details.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We offer a family camp weekend from Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31
