BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: A safe enriching environment for children to enjoy the great outdoors and learn about the love of God. Currently we provide children a safe place to come to camp, as well
as allowing community group’s access to our facility to hold their own programs and events. We offer several different camp experiences.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Adventure, Waterfront/Aquatics, Wilderness/Nature, Horses/Equestrian, Fine Arts/Crafts, Music/Band, Theater, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Swimming, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball, Team Sports, and more. Archery Camp
A Week On The Farm Camp
CAMP LOCATION: We are 50 minutes from Halifax and 40 minutes from Truro. Our camp is spread out over 400 acres of wilderness and pastures for our horses, petting farm and widerness camping. We also offer regular kids camps that can enjoy all aspects of camp life or pick from many of our specialty camps. Please visit our website for photo's.
CAMP FACILITIES: 11 cabins, outdoor inground pool, dinning hall, recreational building, volley ball, soccer/baseball field, barn for our horse program and petting farm, 1 heated supper cabin, craft and canteen cabin, archery, initiative trail, 400 acres of hiking trails
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Adventure Camp, 5 levels of Riding Camps (Saddle-Up, Giddy-Up, Range Riders), 2 Equine Camps, Ranch Camps, Girls Wilderness and Boys Wilderness Camps, Teen Camp, Teen Wilderness, Archery Camp, Happy Kamp for 5-8 yr olds, Family Camp, Spring and Fall Retreats, F.L.O.W. retreat for girls grade 7-12 and M.O.I. retreat for boys grades 7-12. Winter Retreat for Grades 1-6. We also rent our facility to many groups, ex. churches, schools, Natural resource programs, girl guides, boys scouts, family reunions, weddings, and more.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: LTP Camp will be held July 9-14. This is a camp that you will need to apply for to attend. We will only be taking 8 campers for this program. See website for details.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We have a camper sponsorship program for families who may have trouble sending there child to camp. Additional paper work will be required to apply for this funding.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We offer a Family Camp the long weekend in September. This will be our 3rd year and it is growing quickly.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Winter Retreat for Grades 1-6. Year-round group rentals. Spring and Fall teen guys and gals retreats. Keep an eye on our website for other special retreats and events for 2017.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are always looking for a lifeguard for the summer. Volunteer cooks that will give a week in the kitchen.
We also have cabin leader, house keeping, dinning hall, maintenance and barn staff. Most of our staff are volunteer but we do have limited paid positions or you can raise your own support. Staff applications can be found on our web site.
